Graduates of this course will be able to:
• Perform a variety of hands-on tasks in surface extraction, including the operation of light vehicles, rigid haul trucks, graders, dozers, and other mobile machinery, based on your selected electives.
• Inspect, test, and carry out basic maintenance on equipment to ensure it is safe and fully operational.
• Implement safety controls and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies on site, following industry-standard procedures.
