This qualification provides a trade outcome in steelfixing in the construction industry. The occupational title for this qualification is steelfixer. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.

Some workplaces may require post-tensioning skill and development along with scaffolding and confined space. Steelfixing skills and knowledge are required across the civil and construction industry.

This course is delivered via an on-the-job traineeship, customised to the workplace.
