Fusion Training Solutions recently conducted a Working Safely at Heights course that showcased the dedication and hard work of its participants. Under the expert guidance of Fusion trainer Alan Hayes, students not only mastered the Working at Heights Unit but also excelled in โShift materials safely using manual handling methodsโ and โFollow work health and safety proceduresโ units. The success of this training program reflects the commitment of both the students and the Fusion team.

Empowering Indigenous Youth in Construction
DIZ Footprint, Barangaroo Graduation
Around 80 people gathered to celebrate the achievements of 5 outstanding graduates.
Luke, the CEO of BESIX Watpac, couldn’t have been prouder of this program’s accomplishments. BESIX Watpac has been actively strengthening Indigenous partnerships and advancing Reconciliation efforts in NSW. They’ve established a national Indigenous supply chain network, provided cultural awareness training for employees, hosted Indigenous business forums, and taken part in educational initiatives like school based training programs.
The Barangaroo Station Project recently partnered with DIZ Footprints, opening up amazing opportunities for five Aboriginal High School students.
These talented young individuals have gained hands-on experience in carpentry, concreting, masonry, scaffolding, and electrical engineering, all while working towards obtaining a Certificate II in Construction Pathways during their HSC studies.
This is a fantastic head start for them in building rewarding careers in the construction industry.
A big thank you to Allan, our trainer who has diligently trained these incredible school based trainees over the last 12 months.
